Terms and Conditions

Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date]

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from Tiny Home Sales, [PLACEHOLDER: legal entity name] ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order you accept them.

1. About these terms

If any part of these terms conflicts with a signed written quote or purchase agreement between us, the signed document takes precedence for that order.

2. Using this website

You may browse, enquire and order. You may not scrape the site, copy our photography or descriptions, interfere with its operation, or use it for anything unlawful.

All content on this site — text, images, layout, logos — is our property or licensed to us.

3. Product information

We work hard to describe our homes accurately. Even so:

  • Photographs and renders are illustrative. Finishes, fixtures and colours may

differ slightly from the images shown.

  • Dimensions are nominal and subject to normal manufacturing tolerance.
  • Specifications may change as manufacturers update their models. The

specification that applies to your order is the one on your signed quote.

Where there's any difference between this website and your quote, the quote governs.

4. Pricing

  • Prices are shown in [PLACEHOLDER: currency] and are for the home as listed,

before delivery.

  • Delivery, options, taxes and duties are quoted separately.
  • We may change listed prices at any time. A price change does not affect an order

already confirmed by a signed quote.

  • If a price is listed in obvious error, we may decline the order and refund any

payment in full.

5. Quotes and orders

A quote request is not an order and does not oblige either of us to anything.

An order is formed when you accept a written quote and we receive your deposit. Until then we may decline any request, for any reason.

Quotes are valid for [PLACEHOLDER: validity period] unless stated otherwise.

6. Payment

[PLACEHOLDER: payment terms — deposit percentage, balance due date, accepted methods, consequences of late payment.]

7. Delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: we deliver and place; you are responsible for site readiness, access, unloading equipment, permits, installation and utility connections.

Delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for costs you incur because a delivery date moves.

8. Risk and title

Risk in the home passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.

9. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Confirming that your intended use is permitted where you plan to site the home
  • Obtaining all permits and approvals
  • Site preparation, foundation and access
  • Engaging licensed contractors for installation and utility connection
  • Compliance with all local building, zoning and occupancy rules

We make no representation that any model may lawfully be sited or occupied at your location. Local rules vary widely and change. Check before you order.

10. Cancellations, changes and returns

[PLACEHOLDER: cancellation window, change-order process, restocking or cancellation charges, and the point at which production start makes a deposit non-refundable.]

Because every home is built or configured to order, we cannot offer general change-of-mind returns once production has begun.

11. Warranty

[PLACEHOLDER: warranty scope, duration, claims process and exclusions.]

Warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, failure to prepare the site correctly, modification after delivery, neglect, misuse, or normal wear.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of profit, loss of rental income, or costs of alternative accommodation.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disaster, war, civil unrest, epidemic, strike, transport failure, port closure or government action.

14. Disputes

[PLACEHOLDER: dispute resolution process.] These terms are governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER: jurisdiction], and the courts of [PLACEHOLDER: jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when your order was confirmed.
