The Wayfarer 24 is a travel trailer specified like a home rather than like camping equipment.
Twenty-four feet on a tandem-axle chassis, road-legal and towable behind a properly rated vehicle. Inside: a fixed queen bed at the front — not a convertible dinette — a wet-room bathroom with a shower and cassette toilet, a galley with a three-burner cooktop, oven, sink and a compressor refrigerator, and a dinette that seats four.
The difference from a conventional trailer is in the envelope and the systems. The walls are insulated to R-15 rather than R-7, the windows are double-glazed, and the water system is heat-traced. It is usable through a real winter.
Solar is fitted as standard: 400 watts on the roof into a lithium battery bank, enough to run the refrigerator, lights and water pump indefinitely off-grid.
Fresh, grey and black tanks. 30-amp shore power connection.
