The Wayfarer 28 adds four feet and a bunk room to our base trailer, and that bunk room is the whole reason it exists.
Two fixed sleeping areas: a queen bed at the front behind a door, and a rear bunk room with two single bunks and its own door. Nothing converts, nothing has to be made up at night, and nobody sleeps in the dining area.
Between them, a wet-room bathroom, a galley with a three-burner cooktop, oven, sink and compressor refrigerator, and a dinette for four.
Same envelope specification as the 24: R-15 walls, double-glazed windows, heat-traced plumbing, and 400 watts of solar into a lithium bank. The extra length adds tank capacity rather than just floor area, which matters more than it sounds for off-grid stays.
Tandem-axle chassis, road-legal, 30-amp shore power.
