The Weald is a step up from a basic shell kit: the wall and roof panels arrive pre-insulated, so the building is weathertight and thermally complete as soon as it is standing.
Three hundred and twenty square feet with a sleeping loft above the rear third, reached by a ladder included in the kit. A full-height glazed door and three windows on the main elevation.
Assembly takes a competent pair about four days. The panels are heavy enough that two people are the minimum and a telehandler makes it much faster.
Included: floor system, insulated wall and roof panels, roofing, cladding, door, windows, loft structure and ladder, fixings and manual. Not included: interior lining, electrical, plumbing, foundation.
Buyers finish these to very different standards, from a bare workshop to a fully lined guest cabin.
